New Firefox Nightly Build Supports Multiple CSS Backgrounds!

Posted: Mar 24, 12:46 PM

One of the things I have always wished I could have but was never available when I needed it was the ability to use CSS to have multiple background images in my markup. Browsing around the news sites this morning I ran across this post on Ajaxian that stated in the new nightly builds of Firefox my wish has been granted! While I am sure it will take a while to catch on or become a feature that is usable in all browsers, it does make me excited for what the future holds for me as a developer. No more will have to use nested DIV containers to accomplish this seemingly easy to accomplish task.

You can view some code example by pointing your browsers to the Ajaxian post here.
