PETA Has to Much Time on Their Hands...

Don’t get me wrong, I love animals as much as the next person but this is just ridiculous. You would think with all the problems going on right now with the treatment of animals in the world that PETA would have more important things to do than drastically violate one of Nintendo’s trademarks because they happen to cook meat in a cartoon based video game. It isn’t as if Nintendo went out and cook live footage of animals being chopped up and cooked to present to the casual gamer. Is this really what peoples hard earned donation dollars are going to nowadays? Trying to convince Nintendo not to harm fake cartoon animals? What is PETA going to do next, try to get a write in campaign to Warner Brothers because Sylvester The Cat had an anvil dropped on his head?

I have no idea how a organization such as PETA can take such a noble idea as protecting animals and just crap all over it in such a disgusting manner.

For the record PETA, if you actually played Cooking Mama you would realize that a fair amount of the recipes in the game call for no cartoon animals at all. Also while we are on the topic of how much you suck lately, why not take the thousands of dollars that you would have had to pay a developer to create this blatant violation of Nintendo’s trademark to create a vegan cooking game yourself that you could have used to generate advertising revenue to protect real animals that need help instead of fretting over the harm coming to virtual animals.

Once again, PETA equals fail – big time – when it comes to the common sense department and getting the word out to actually make a difference instead of annoying people to do the exact opposite of what you are trying to accomplish. I for one will never find myself donating money to a organization such as this that wastes said money in such a frivolous way.
