TinyComics (BETA) Goes Live!

Posted: May 11, 01:13 PM

My recent side project, TinyComics, went live over the weekend. For those that are unaware, I’m a huge comic book nerd, and so TC was built because their was not a mobile resource available for me to find out which new comic books were coming out this week. Sure there were sites I could go too but none of them were formatted for the small screen which made scrolling and shrinking pages kind of tedious and bothersome.

I built TinyComics with simplicity in mind and is compatible with both the Android and Apple iPhone mobile browsers. When you visit TC, or visit it via the Google Android application that is now live in the Android Market, you are dumped into the most current week of comic goodness. From there you can select a publisher/manufacturer of comics, trade paper backs, hard covers, toys and statues to display all of the items said publisher/manufacturer is releasing that week.

Each item contains a description for that product as well as various information such as the publisher, release date, MSRP (manufacturer suggested retail price), and even links to where you can go and purchase that item you are looking at!

TC’s database is updated daily so make sure to check it out often! If you have any suggestions for features you would like to see added in this handy web application then make sure to send us a tweet on Twitter @tinycomics
