So the misses and I have decided it was time to move into a bigger place as we have finally reached that stage, which I’m sure happens in every relationship, were you just accumulate to much stuff and start busting at the seems.
During the move, I will be offline. I should be back up and posting by Sunday evening (August 5th, 2007).

So I got bored this after noon and decided to check my Google Analytics account. Low and behold, the cellphone accessory shop, RoccStar Accessories was generating a surge of spikes. It turns out that I am in the top two spots on Google for the search phrase "apple iphone silicon skins". I know this is not the greatest victory in the world, but its nice to be on top, especially with all the buzz the Apple iPhone is generating!

Yes, I have 100% neglected this site. While I shouldn't have,my original gameplan for this site was put on the back burner due to my signing up to be a part of the Smartphone Thoughts news team. Not wanting to just let this site sit on the curb, I decided I will put it to good use. I mean, come on! The site is named NerdofSteel.com, you can't pass up the opportunity to do something fun with that! I am in the middle of doing a redesign on this site, which will be the third redesign I have worked on this year! While non of these other redesigns have shown there face on the internet, as I could never think of a direction I wanted to take the site, this one will! I now have that direction!
While I love everything Smartphone related, that is only a small portion of my interest in technology. There are dozens of things I do each do with technology everyday that I take for granted. Things that become second nature to me because I'm so use to doing them. The other day, while showing off one of my latest projects to a friend, I realized that while some things are "blah" and mundane to me, other people find them amazing. So that is what I am going to do, I'm going to write about my going-ons with the technology in my day to day life and not just about Smartphone related stuff. While there will still be topics on Smartphone software and hardware, it just won't be my main focus.
Look for my "site refresh" to launch in the coming weeks. My goal is to have it up and running by November 19th 2006, the day I get my brand spanking new Nintendo Wii which will definitely be something I will want to write about! ;)

I have recently joined the Smartphone Thoughts news team. So for your new everyday Smartphone news thirst, quench it by pointing your browsers to smartphonethoughts.com. I still plan on releasing articles and reviews through my site but you might see them a day or so earlier on Smartphone Thoughts. Hopefully within the next week or so I should have another riveting article up for you guys.

The past couple days have been rough but the move is finally complete. Email is back up and running. If you tried emailing me in the past day or so and I have not replied it is a safe bet I lost it in the move. Please forward me the email if it is still in your sent box.

Just a heads up. While moving from my old host to my new host some errors have come up in the form of email going down. If you have sent me an email after about 1:00PM PST then chances are I did not receive it.
The problem is being worked on as we speak and the moment I get my email back up and running I will makea post here!

Visitors to the site might have known that I have had a fair bit of downtime in the past couple days. Basically, my old host wasn’t capable of supporting the site and getting in touch with anyone on the support team was a 24-48 hour ordeal.
The good news is I have joined the Dreamhost family. For only $7.95 a month I receive hosting for an unlimited amount of domain names, unlimited MySQL Databases, 20GB of storage space and 1TB of bandwidth. It really is an awesome deal.
If you have a site that streams podcast, host images, houses a blog or anything else for that matter then I highly suggest checking out Dreamhost.com
